Your Role at Beneq
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a leading role in developing and implementing electrical and control solutions for our semiconductor ALD equipment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust system design, compliance with international standards, and the seamless transition of new products into manufacturing.
You will also act as a technical authority in your domain, supporting the team with your expertise and contributing to high-quality engineering decisions.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Lead the electrical and control aspects of ALD equipment development as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Own and drive key technical decisions regarding PLCs, control systems, and electrical components.
• Design and review electrical drawings and specifications in compliance with IEC, UL, SEMI S22, and NFPA 79 standards.
• Provide technical clarity and articulate engineering decisions and trade-offs in technical discussions.
• Lead root cause analysis and support technical escalations, driving long-term improvements in product reliability and performance.
• Support and mentor other engineers, contributing to knowledge sharing and development within the team.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Electrical Engineer who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment. To succeed in this role, you should have:
• 7+ years of experience in electrical/automation design (400/230 VAC, 24 VDC, UPS, cabinet layout, cable design, etc.).
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with electrical CAD tools (Eplan P8 is considered an advantage).
• A solid understanding of electrical and safety standards (IEC, UL, CE, SEMI S22, NFPA 79).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach.
• Experience in project work, with the ability to take ownership and guide technical solutions.
Bonus Skills That Set You Apart
• Experience in PCB design
• Experience in thin film processes (ALD, PVD, CVD, or PECVD).
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
