Process Technician – Advanced ALD Services (Espoo)

Are you a hands-on technical professional with experience in semiconductor processing or thin film technologies? Beneq, a global leader in ALD solutions, is looking for a Process Technician to join our Advanced ALD team (P-series) in Espoo.
In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of ALD technology, supporting customer-facing development and coating services while ensuring high-quality process execution and equipment performance. Your Role
As a Process Technician, you will execute ALD coating and development services, ensure equipment readiness, and support process development activities. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, sales teams, and the Process Team Manager to deliver high-quality demonstrations and services to our customers.
This is a hands-on role where your technical skills and problem-solving ability directly contribute to customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Execute ALD coating and development services using P-series equipment
Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot process tools to ensure optimal performance
Prepare equipment, materials, and setups for service runs
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and basic fault diagnostics
Monitor process performance and ensure high-quality results
Document process parameters, results, and service outcomes
Support customer demos and explain technical aspects when needed
Collaborate with engineers and sales teams to align services with customer needs
What We’re Looking For
Vocational education in a relevant technical field
Strong practical skills in operating and troubleshooting technical systems
Detail-oriented, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow safety procedures
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
Nice to Have
2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, thin films, or lab work
Experience with semiconductor equipment (e.g. deposition, etching, lithography)
Experience in customer-facing technical roles or demos
Familiarity with ALD or similar thin film deposition technologies
