We are Hiring: Customer Technology Excellence Manager
Do you take pride in getting the details right and making technology shine for customers? We're looking for someone who does — as our new Customer Technology Excellence Manager at Beneq.
This role is responsible for creating world-class customer demonstration experiences that showcase our technology, strengthen customer confidence and accelerate business growth.
This individual leads the planning, execution and continuous improvement of all customer demonstrations, ensuring every demo is delivered safely, professionally, and consistently to the highest technical standards.
As the owner of the demonstration excellence, this individual establishes the systems, processes, training programs, and quality standards that enable technicians and Engineers to execute flawless demonstrations while providing an exceptional customer experience.
The role serves as the bridge between Technology, Applications, Sales, Operations, and Equipment teams to ensure demonstration activities reflect Beneq’s commitment to innovation, quality, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Demonstration Excellence and Customer Experience
· Own the end-to-end customer demonstration process
· Establish and maintain demonstration quality standards
· Ensure every demonstration is executed consistently, professionally, and safely
· Drive a culture of pride, preparation, and technical excellence across the demonstration team
· Act as the internal champion for customer experience during technology evaluations and visits
Process Governance and SOP Leadership
· Develop, maintain, and continuously improve all demonstration-related SOPs
· Establish standardized work instructions, checklists, and the best practices
· Ensure process compliance and audit readiness
· Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives following demonstrations
Demonstration Readiness and Process Monitoring
· Create and manage readiness review systems for all demonstrations
· Ensure equipment, processes, materials, metrology and documentation are prepared in a timely manner
· Implement process monitoring plans to identify risks and maintain demonstration quality
· Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions when issues occur
Team Development and Capability Building
· Lead onboarding and training programs for new demonstration personnel
· Develop technician certification and competency programs
· Coach team members of best practices, customer interaction, troubleshooting, and execution discipline
· Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous learning
Cross-Functional Leadership
· Coordinate activities across Technology Development, Applications, Equipment Engineering, Operations and Sales.
· Align demonstration priorities with business objectives and customer needs
· Facilitate communication between technical teams and customer-facing functions.
Continuous Improvement
· Define demonstration KPIs and performance metrics
· Track demonstration success rates, readiness metrics, customer feedback, and process adherence
· Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction
· Lead projects that enhance the overall demonstration capability of the organization
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Semiconductor Technology or a relevant technical discipline
· 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process development, applications engineering, customer-facing teams or technical operations
· Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, or improving technical processes and stand operating procedures (SOP)s
· Experience in leading projects, coordinating resources, and driving activities to completion
· Experience with atomic layer deposition (ALD), vacuum systems, and semiconductor process equipment is preferred
